Barely Gentlemen History
It was the end of 2009. I was out of high school not wanting to work a 9-5, I quickly tried to find a get Rich quick scheme. Everybody was making T-Shirts so I Thought I would make my own. I called the line Rabbi made a design and ran with it. Unfortunately, I was quickly bought to the realization that it wasn't that easy. So I put the idea aside and decided to get a job.The idea of my own line was still in the back of my head, It started to become more than a scheme, my love for fashion got involved. I had all of the ideas running through my head. I just needed to find a name. Around the end of 2011 I was talking with my girlfriend and I had the name Gentlemen stuck in my head. Wanting to incorporate that southern gent aura. Out of nowhere she said barely gentlemen. It just sounded perfect for me. It describes the young entrepreneur trying to get to the top or that True Gentlemen status, so i stuck with it and started what I have so far.
